Mission Ganesh Himal 2017 brings together about 49 students:
 
- 46 first year students of the school AgroParisTech
- 3 3rd year medical students at the University of Rouen

 

 

History of an overactive Association

 

The brainchild of four students from the ENSAE, the "Nepal Project" was born in 2012. Renewed over the past two years, the project gathered thirty-two students from different schools (ENSAE, AgroParisTech, Medical University Paris VI) in 2014. Under the tutelage of the AgroParisTech Solidarity association, the project gained momentum and allowed to intervene in over 12 villages with 3000 euros worth of material.

 

In September 2014, with 80 ultra-motivated students, Nepal Project 2015 becomes Mission Ganesh Himal.

  

This year, the association intends to intervene in many other villages and diversify its activities, particularly those that will allow to buy sports, school and medical supplies, but also to implement actions of prevention and hygiene, health and environmental awareness.

 

We collaborate with a local NGO: the Ganesh Himal Tourism Development Committee.
Alliance Treks & Expedition (P). Ltd and Alliance Treks will give us logistical support on site.

 

On the other hand, all funds raised will be used exclusively for the purchase of supplies, equipment and the establishment of various local development projects. Travel expenses to visit the country are paid by the members of the association themselves.
